Prince Adufah founded Kwame Adufah Studios to document the occasions people return to for the rest of their lives: weddings, milestone birthdays, graduations and gatherings of faith.

His work centres on people and the relationships between them. He directs portraits with a calm, light hand and gives events room to unfold, so the photographs and films carry the feeling of the day as well as its record.

The studio is based in the Inland Empire, California, and offers photography and film under one roof. Clients brief a single team and receive images and footage that share one visual language, from the first portrait to the closing frame of the film.
